Bioreactor

The Bioreactor is a resource converter with an AUTO control between the minus and plus buttons. In the September Demo, Auto sends two humans and dispatches another when only one remains in the queue. It reduces repeated dispatch commands; keep an eye on the rest of your workforce.

Where to find Auto

Select a built Bioreactor. Its workforce controls include minus, AUTO and plus, as shown in the image. Use AUTO to automate further human dispatches. The full production guide explains where this fits into checking a stalled economy.

What automation changes

Auto saves repeated commands to send humans to this converter. The developer identifies the Bioreactor as the main reason for adding converter automation. Humans still serve other production and defense jobs, so consider the whole ship’s workforce when leaving Auto running.

Recognize the converter in context

The wider official image shows the same named converter and its queue controls, so you can match this panel to the room on your ship.
